Trent Alexander-Arnold was formally introduced as Real Madrid’s newest galactico on Thursday morning at Ciudad Real Madrid, the club’s training ground.
The 26-year-old is the second summer arrival to be officially presented, following defender Dean Huijsen’s unveiling earlier in the week.
The event took place at 12:30 CET, with Alexander-Arnold welcomed by club president Florentino Pérez.
Alexander-Arnold mentioned Liverpool fans during his unveiling, saying:
“I will be forever grateful to Liverpool and will always be indebted to the club for that?
I spent 20 years there and enjoyed every minute.”
“I thought it was the right moment for me [to leave], having achieved everything, being the age I am.”
“I feel like I am mature, ready, experienced to go and be sucessful somewhere else.”
