Mohamed Salah has added another player of the year trophy to his collection, with the Liverpool star claiming the Standard Chartered Men's Player of the Season award for 2024/25.
The internal club prize is rich reward for a record-breaking season.
Salah contributed 57 goal involvements from 52 appearances in all competitions in a campaign where he moved up to third in the club’s list of all-time scorers.
In the Premier League, Salah particularly shone, setting the record for most goal involvements in a 38-game season and equalling the long-standing league high of 47 achieved over 42 matches.
The Egyptian was also the only player to feature in all 38 league matches for Liverpool and now sits fifth in the division’s all-time scoring list.
It means he has another individual trophy to add to his impressive hoard from the 2024/25 campaign.
Salah posed on the Anfield pitch with the Football Writers’ Association prize, the Premier League Player of the Season award and trophies to denote his achievements of topping the league’s goals and assists chart.
It’s unlikely to be his final accolade, with the PFA Player of the Season award, voted for by the players, still be announced.
