Trent Alexander-Arnold has responded after former Liverpool team-mate Darwin Nunez announced his move to Saudi Arabia with an emotional statement.
Nunez, 26, has joined Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal for an initial fee of £46.2million.
The Uruguayan played alongside Alexander-Arnold for all three of his full seasons at Anfield but the pair have both departed this summer.
After completing his medical with Al-Hilal, Nunez took to Instagram and wrote a statement thanking Liverpool, who he scored 40 goals in 143 appearances for.
"Thank you, Liverpool," the striker wrote.
The 26-year-old will begin life in La Liga next Tuesday when Real host Osasuna.
