Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold has responded to an update provided by an injured teammate.
Since Alexander-Arnold joined Madrid from Liverpool, he has made four La Liga appearances, including two starts.
Xabi Alonso’s men sit at the top of the Spanish top flight, two points clear of fierce rivals Barcelona, having earned four successive wins.
Meanwhile, Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Manchester City are desperate to retain Erling Haaland despite interest from Real Madrid.

While Alexander-Arnold is still adjusting to La Liga, fellow Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has suffered a leg injury which is set to keep him out of action for three months.
Consequently, the former Chelsea man will be absent when Alonso’s men face Liverpool in the Champions League on 4 November.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, 14 September, Rudiger wrote: “First of all, thank you so much for all your get well soon messages.

His relative lack of involvement for Real Madrid in La Liga has jeopardised Alexander-Arnold’s England credentials, as he was left out of Thomas Tuchel’s most recent Three Lions squad.
