Trent Alexander-Arnold has sent a message on social media after Liverpool secured the Premier League title on Sunday.
After months of waiting, the Reds finally laid hands on their second league title in five years, as they defeated Tottenham 5-1 at Anfield to ensure that they reached an unassailable 81 points.
Part of the starting XI on Sunday was Alexander-Arnold, who made his 41st appearance for the club in all competitions this season.
However, while the defender has been a huge part of the club’s success this season, there remains uncertainty over his futuure.
His current deal at the club will be up in few weeks and several reports suggest his future is already decided and he will be playing for Real Madrid next season.
Some Liverpool fans are hopeful that he will have a rethink and stay at the club.

The Reds winger was speaking during Liverpool’s title celebrations on Sunday.
During an on-pitch interview with Sky Sports, Gakpo let slip: “Now with Mo [Salah] and Virgil [Van Dijk] staying, and hopefully Trent as well, they can keep building.”
Gakpo’s comments sparked optimism among Liverpool fans and Alexander-Arnold himself has made an Instagram post that could fuel even more hope about his Anfield stay.
Taking to Instagram On Monday after the title win on Sunday, the defender wrote: “For the City, for the fans,” followed by a heart emoji.
