After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
The Reds vice-captain announced on Monday that he will leave Anfield upon the expiration of his contract at the end of June, seeing his time as a Liverpool player come to an end after 20 years.
The announcement comes amid increased speculation that Alexander-Arnold could move to Real Madrid as a free agent when his contract at Liverpool expires.
Having joined Liverpool at the age of six, Alexander-Arnold will leave the Reds with two Premier League titles, one Champions League, two League Cups, one FA Cup, one Club World Cup and one UEFA Super Cup to his name.

Alexander-Arnold confirmed the news in an emotional interview released by Liverpool on Monday morning.
The video comes almost a year to the day since the Reds right-back was emotional after another Anfield departure.
It was on May 19, 2024, that Jurgen Klopp bid farewell to Liverpool with his final match as the club's manager.
The Reds won 2-0 against Wolves at Anfield, with the German receiving an emotional send off by the players, staff and supporters.

As Liverpool's anthem, 'You'll Never Walk Alone', was played after full-time, the Reds players lined up in front of the Kop alongside Klopp for one last time.
It was during the anthem that Alexander-Arnold was spotted holding back the tears during Klopp's farewell on Merseyside.
He also broke down during a television interview with Viaplay as he summed up the impact the manager has had on his own career and family.
"He's changed my life and everyone around me, my whole family," Alexander-Arnold said.
It just shows how much he means to me and the club."

Alexander-Arnold now has the possibility of making just three more appearances in a Liverpool shirt before his departure at the end of next month.
Two of those games will be at Anfield, starting with the clash against Arsenal this Sunday before hosting Crystal Palace on May 25 on the final day of the season.
It will be after the clash against the Eagles that Alexander-Arnold will be part of the celebrations as Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy.
