Curtis Jones has been a tad out of favour at Liverpool this season.
When called upon, Jones has been solid and, in comparison to the game time Elliott has been receiving, it feels like the Scouser should be thankful for the amount he’s been given.
In a recent interview with British GQ, Jones was asked whether he had any footballers he was friends with outside of the game, to which he replied: “Anthony Gordon is probably my only best mate in the football world.
He’s trying to change me, saying, You’re a dad now, you need to be more mature with how you dress.”

He was then asked if he had taken the advice given by Gordon on board which sparked the following response: “Yeah, I’ve invested in a classier vibe and look now.
Newcastle’s current stance is that they’d like to keep him, but the report adds that a ‘big enough offer’ could tempt them to sell up.
Indeed, only time will tell what the future has in store, but for now, it doesn’t seem like Jones will be reunited with his best mate at Liverpool any time soon.
