Man United outcast Tyrell Malacia shared a light-hearted message to former teammate Antony after what he did for Real Betis.
Ruben Amorim has frozen Malacia out from first-team training ever since he returned from his loan spell from PSV during the summer.
He joined Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, and Antony, who formed the so-called ‘bomb-squad’, a group of players kept separate from the main squad as the club looked to move them on.
While Antony completed a return to Real Betis, Malacia was unable to find a new club and remains at Old Trafford.
Now, the defender shared a message for his former teammate after his latest performance with the Spanish side.
Antony completed a permanent move to Real Betis in the summer.
Antony found the net as Real Betis fought for a draw with Nottingham Forest in the first Europa League fixture of the league phase.
The winger struck with his right foot, and it caused a reaction on social media as he reposted Sancho’s praise of the Brazilian on Instagram.

Malacia then reposted the clip that was captioned “Right foot” with a laughing emoji and “iluminado” which translates to ‘Illuminated’ in English, alongside a laughing emoji.

Man United wanted to sell Antony, who scored just 12 goals in 96 appearances in a disappointing stint with the Red Devils.
Yet his fortunes changed in Spain as he contributed to 15 goals and assists during his initial loan spell.
It still seems as if the ‘bomb squad’ are still keeping in touch and showing support to each other, despite now being at different teams.
Of Antony’s 12 goals in a United shirt, only three came with his weaker foot in all competitions at Old Trafford, which explains the humorous reaction on Instagram.

He has already netted twice with his weaker foot since initially joining Betis on loan, showcasing his confidence since his move away.
Meanwhile, Man United suffered a loss on Antony after he was sold for just £21 million after signing from Ajax for £86m.
The hierarchy will hope they do not come to regret selling the Brazilian, with a growing trend of former players thriving elsewhere – and Antony is now looking set to join that list.
