Liverpool U19s’ fixture schedule in the 2025-26 UEFA Youth League have been confirmed.

The Reds’ senior team securing a spot in the Champions League presents a fresh chance for the Academy players to showcase their talents on the European stage.

The U19 squad will compete in the Champions League path of the UEFA Youth League, which follows the revamped format of the main competition

This season features 36 qualified clubs’ youth sides competing in one overall league table.

The Youth League fixtures mirror those of the senior Champions League; however, each team will only play the first six matchdays of the group stage instead of all eight, balancing three games at home and three away.

Youth League fixture details (all kick-off times UK):

Liverpool U19s v Atletico Madrid: Wednesday September 17 (3pm)
Galatasaray v Liverpool U19s: Tuesday September 30 (3pm)
Eintracht Frankfurt v Liverpool U19s: Wednesday October 22 (2pm)
Liverpool U19s v Real Madrid: Tuesday November 4 (2pm)
Liverpool U19s v PSV Eindhoven: Wednesday November 26 (2pm)
Internazionale v Liverpool U19s: Tuesday December 9 (4pm)

The top 22 teams from the Champions League path of the Youth League’s league phase will progress to the knockout stage, which begins in February and concludes in April.

In last season’s edition, Liverpool’s Under-19s finished 19th in the Champions League path league phase.

Over six group matches, they recorded 2 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses, scoring 9 goals and conceding 8, which was enough to see them advance to the knockout rounds.

However, they fell to their Stuttgart counterparts in the round of 32 play-offs.

In other positive news, the U19 side and other youth teams at Kirkby are set to benefit from a £20 million major redevelopment of the Academy facilities.

Announced last week, the project includes a first-ever full-size indoor pitch built as a dome over the current main pitch, a new natural grass outdoor pitch with a spectator stand for 500, and state-of-the-art medical and sports science facilities.
