The 30-year-old from Huyton extended his winning streak in the UFC to seven when he defeated Michael Chandler by TKO at UFC 314 in April, which took place in Miami.
Away from the cage, Paddy is a huge Liverpool fan and often goes to Anfield when he has the time in between fights and training.
In an Instagram post after the game, the UFC star shared his appreciation for his dad Mark.
Paddy said: “What a result today for the Reds, can’t beat watching us win with my arl fella.” He received many messages of support after the update.
One said: “It was great to have you in the Founders Lounge with us today, see you again soon.”
Another said: “Brilliant to share moments like this with your dad.
Hope he had a great time.” A third person added: “Good to see you and your old man lad.”
Paddy also shared footage of the free-kick being scored from his seat and said: “Had a feeling @szoboszlaidominik was gonna drill this into the net didn’t I?”
Away from the cage, Paddy is married to Laura Pimblett.
On his Instagram page, Paddy revealed he had watched the game with his family at a bar in Dubai.
In June, Paddy shared a series of photos from a recent family holiday in Cyprus and said: “A lovely week away in Cyprus just chilling.
"It’s time for a few weeks of work in America now.
While he was there last week, Paddy shared various pictures of his twins enjoying what the city has to offer in matching outfits.

In a separate post, Paddy revealed the family had attended a San Diego Padres game, the local baseball team.
