Luis Diaz has been the talk of the town for the last month or so, with the attacker being linked with multiple moves out of Liverpool.
And, as per a report from journalist David Lynch via Anfield Index, even more changes could be afoot with the Reds’ price tag for Diaz’s sale now being revealed.
“My expectation and understanding is that Liverpool would come to the table for that sort of money [€85m, £72.5M],” he said.

“But we’re not quite at that stage yet, and we don’t know if he would want to go.
“I haven’t seen anything that makes me think he will be [ready to go to Saudi], but if they come in with a serious offer, then it could be a no-brainer for Liverpool to sell.”

Although Diaz was one of the Reds’ best-performing attackers last season, if they want to continue growing and being dominant, players will have to be sold and brought in each year.
Diaz is now 28 years old, and by the time his Liverpool contract expires, he’ll be 30.
These next two years could end up being the last chance that Liverpool get to earn some money from the attacker.
With the number of players available on the transfer market, such as Malick Fofana, there are plenty of options for Liverpool to explore as his replacement.
At the end of the day, it’s better for Liverpool to get a fee for him this season than it is to let him go for free in two years, especially after what happened with Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer.
