The former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton striker was impressed by Nunez after the Uruguay international striker scored for Liverpool in the 2-2 draw with Fulham away from home.

The 23-year-old striker came on as a substitute in the 51st minute for Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino.

Nunez, who moved to Liverpool from Benfica in the summer transfer window, found the back of the net in the 64th minute.
