Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has waxed lyrical about Reds teammate Mohamed Salah, saying he’s “very demanding with himself” and “wants to be the best”.
When questioned on remaining at Liverpool, Salah said, as translated by Sky Sports: “That’s a tough one, but right now I can say that everything is in the club’s hands.”
Fabinho, however, says rumours linking Salah with the biggest two clubs in Spain is always likely – but he believes the player is very happy at Liverpool and is unaffected by speculation.
He’s very demanding with himself, he wants to be the best, he wants to help the team and works hard for it.
“Big players will always have their names involved in rumours,” Fabinho is quoted by Sky Sports as saying.
“Salah plays for Liverpool, one of the biggest teams in the world.
The Brazilian is also confident that Salah is happy at Anfield amid speculation linking him with a move away from Merseyside.
As I said, top quality players will always be linked to big clubs.”
Salah has been sensational for Liverpool over the years, so it’s worrying to see transfer speculation surfacing about his future once again.
