The Colombian has been linked with a move away from Liverpool for quite some time now.
The Reds have had a busy summer and their players have been linked with big moves away, none more so than winger Luis Diaz.
The 28-year-old has been the subject of interest from Saudi club Al Nassr and Barcelona, with Liverpool recently rejecting the Spanish club’s approach for Diaz.
Liverpool have put a £100m price-tag on Diaz ahead of this summer’s window to try and fend off any interest, something that might just rule Barcelona out from signing him.
However, the Colombian could still be in line for an Anfield exit, with the player himself finally addressing the rumours.

‘Lucho’ has been a fan favourite since he arrived in 2022 and has become a key player under Arne Slot.
Due to having one of his best seasons in a Liverpool shirt to date, Diaz has attracted interest from many clubs and nobody has been fully sure if he would stick around.

However, the player himself has addressed the rumours and revealed that he is enjoying life at Liverpool, but is in contact with other clubs.
“I’m very happy, obviously, there at Liverpool.
I’ve always said that – they welcomed me very well from the first day I arrived,” Diaz told FCF media.
“We’re currently in contact with them but, obviously, we’re also talking to other clubs.
It’s normal, the transfer window is opening, and we’re trying to work out whatever is best for us.
“Like I said, I’m just waiting to see what happens.
If Liverpool offer us a good renewal, or even if I just stay with the two years I still have left on my contract, I’ll be happy and content there.
I’m just here to decide what’s best for us and for the future.”
His answer may not have been the one Liverpool fans were hoping for but a definitive answer still hasn’t been given, suggesting this saga can still go either way.
It is no surprise to see the Colombian linked with a move away after having his best Liverpool season to date, with his end product really improving.

With 17 goals and eight assists, Diaz has helped Liverpool get over the line in tricky games, with his electric pace and flair causing defenders up and down the country real problems.
Liverpool don’t want to sell one of their star players but if a good offer comes in, the club, and now Diaz himself, might be happy accepting it.
