CAN MANE HELP BAYERN TO CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SUCCESS?
After six years of service to Liverpool, Mane departs having won every trophy possible on Mersyside and to now write a new chapter in his footballing career.
Germany and Bayern legend, Kahn, who is the club’s CEO, reacted to Mane’s transfer from Liverpool on his personal Instagram and the former goalkeeper had this to say.
Mane hasn’t joined Bayern to help them win the German title because they are already dominating that and have been doing so for the last decade.
On top of that, Bayern will also want to taste Champions League success again, after doing so behind-closed-doors against PSG when the pandemic hit.
Mane’s career may have ended with defeat in Paris to deny him a second Champions League medal, but he certainly knows his way around that trophy and those in Bavaria will be hoping he can sprinkle some of that magic on them next season.
