Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has brushed off rumours suggesting he could be set for a move away in the summer transfer window and says he wants to stay at the club 'forever'.
The Brazilian made history when he completed a €46million switch from Flamengo to Madrid as an 18-year-old back in May 2017 as the fee was the largest amount ever paid for a player aged under 19.
While Vinicius has shown glimpses of his undoubted ability in the three-and-a-half years that have passed, he has struggled to live up to the sky-high expectations that follow every player to the Bernabeu.
Reports in Spain suggest Madrid are prepared to listen to offers for Vinicius which had alerted Liverpool to the situation, with Jurgen Klopp keen for attacking reinforcements after an immensely disappointing start to the campaign on Merseyside.
There has also been talk that Madrid could use Vinicius as a makeweight in a potential deal for Paris Saint-Germain sensation Kylian Mbappe or even that the 20-year-old could be sent out on loan to guarantee more regular playing time.
Asked whether he would be open to a temporary move in the summer, Vinicius told TNT Sports: 'No. I'm always focused on wanting to be at Real Madrid, being with the best players, learning alongside the best players.
More: UK. Vinicius' current contract at Madrid still has over four years remaining on it and runs through to the summer of 2025.
