Virgil van Dijk has expressed his disappointment at those Crystal Palace fans who failed to respect the period of silence before kick-off in Sunday’s Community Shield.

The Liverpool and Palace players gathered on the center circle ahead of the match to pay tribute to the late Diogo Jota and Andre Silva, who died in tragic circumstances last month.
