Liverpool's Premier League title triumph on Sunday came nearly 14 years to the day that Virgil van Dijk made his Eredivisie debut for FC Groningen.
The defender played the full 90 minutes at Anfield as goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo Mohamed Salah and an own goal from Destiny Udogie ensured the Reds clinched a first league title in front of supporters for more than three decades in style.
Van Dijk has been instrumental in Liverpool's 20th league title success and is the only player in the Reds' squad to have played every minute of the 34 games this campaign.
