"[A player] who is going to desert his teammates, who's going to walk away from a huge football club.

It's a good opportunity with Liverpool, but it has to be done in the right way, I don't think it is."

Isak may not have acted gracefully towards his current club in this tense scenario but does Rooney seriously expect any such behaviour to continue once a transfer to Anfield comes to fruition?

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £192 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
