Liverpool needs to pick itself up and get ready to go again as it travels to London to face Fulham on Sunday after the Europa League quarter-final defeat to Atalanta.

It means that Jürgen Klopp's men are now focused solely on the Premier League and attempting to win a second league title in four years.

Moreover, Liverpool lost in its last Premier League outing, falling to a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at Anfield, and the Reds have hit a slump at the worst possible time in the season.

"What I know, and what I'm sure of, is that they are going to react," said Silva in his pre-game press conference (via football.london).

"We all know Liverpool, we all know that they come from a really tough result in the Premier League, of course to be out of the Europa League was really tough for them as well.

"In 10 days, they lost the chance to be in the semi-finals (in Europe) and probably to fight to be in the final and they lost three points (in the league) that are really important for them, at Anfield which is not something that happens often.

"It is a game that is going to demand more from ourselves than if they had won the last two games."

Liverpool beat Fulham earlier in the season in the first league meeting between the two sides at Anfield in a 4-3 thriller.

Goals from Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru End?, Trent Alexander-Arnold and a Bernd Leno own goal helped the Reds to all three points that day, which was somewhat marred by Joël Matip's season-ending ACL injury.

Fulham hasn't been in the best of form either, winning just two games in the last five in the Premier League, but secured a precious win against West Ham last weekend that should see them safe in the Premier League for another season.

Liverpool.com says: Liverpool needs to bounce back against Fulham, as another defeat in the league could signal the end of any potential title win.

The goals haven't flowed lately, but Liverpool has more than enough in attack to beat Fulham and get back in the title race.
