Jorgensen has been given the chance in goal after Robert Sanchez’s red card against Man United, meaning he was suspended for the League Cup fixture.
It wasn’t the most convincing performance by the goalkeeper, however, as he only made one clearance, one high claim and an error leading to a shot.
Chelsea’s defence has been criticised recently, especially after Sanchez’s latest red card and numerous mistakes from defenders.

Football Insider revealed Chelsea are planning to reignite interest in Maignan after having a summer approach rejected, but Jorgensen could change those plans.
The 23-year-old made 23 appearances last term, and with other keepers’ leaving, such as Kepa Arrizabalaga and Djordje Petrovic, this could be a crucial opportunity for Jorgensen to cement a first-team role, and potentially save the club funds.
