West Ham finally opened their Premier League account with a sensational late 3-0 rally away at Nottingham Forest.
Graham Potter’s side endured a torrid start to the season conceding eight goals in two games and only scoring one, with Troy Deeney suggesting that West Ham are a mess behind the scenes.
However, their stupendous late attacking display saw West Ham cruise past Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.
Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring, before Lucas Paqueta fired home before a passionate celebration, and Callum Wilson headed in a third for the Hammers.
The win will buoy the mood at the London stadium after their poor start with Irons fans now entering the international break with renewed optimism.
To further give West Ham fans further reasons to smile, the club finally got a new faces through the door, signing Monaco’s Soungoutou Magassa alongside Mateus Fernandes from Southampton.
Following the break Potter’s men will face their former star man Mohammed Kudus as the club host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night football in two weeks’ time.

West Ham’s defensive performance was stubborn and their solidity in rest defence was a key part in their victory.
But it was substitute Crysencio Summerville who made the biggest impact of any Irons player according to their fans.
Summerville had been out of action for West Ham since January but returned off the bench with eight minutes of the 90 to go and the ex-Leeds man earned an assist for the first and won the penalty that put West Ham 2-0 up.
Summerville will bring some needed dynamism to Potter’s attack, and alongside El Hadji Malick Diouf on the right hand side, the two will be a handful for opposing defences.
