West Ham already appear to be seeking a replacement for Graham Potter as his team continue to struggle on the pitch.
After a surprise 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, West Ham lost 3-0 to Tottenham on Saturday, 13 September, leaving the Hammers stranded inside the relegation zone, sitting 18th in the table.
The manager has won just five of his 24 matches in charge since replacing Julen Lopetegui, and now the former Brighton and Chelsea figure is set to face a similar demise at the London Stadium.
Football Insider understood earlier this month that West Ham would stick by Potter despite the ongoing fan protests, but that could all change very quickly.

According to The Guardian (18 September), Slaven Bilic has emerged as a leading figure to replace Potter, and while David Sullivan is not ready to make a change, contingency plans are being put in place.
He is not the only one, however, with former Wolves manager Gary O’Neil also in the race to take over at the London Stadium, and that should ruffle a few feathers in East London [The Independent].
It is widely known that the latter was a Millwall supporter as a child, and while he never played for the Lions, that appeared to always be a dream for him.

The 42-year-old has been without a job since being sacked at Molineux Stadium in December 2024, and it was actually a game against the Hammers which raised the pressure on his future with the Old Gold.
Back in 2013 [West London Sport], O’Neil said: “I took a bit of the old Den home with me, and me and my grandad built our own mini-stadium with it,” showing the love for his boyhood club.
He also said, “I was a big fan as a kid.
All my family support them.”
While the teams last met in 2011, 14 years ago almost to the day, the rivalry between the two clubs lives on, especially when sets of fans banter and argue on social media.
The current situation for the Hammers is incredibly worrying, given that relegation is a major concern, and bringing a Millwall fan into the dugout is unlikely to go down well with the fans.
