West Ham United have had an awful start to their Premier League season, losing both of their opening games and sitting bottom of the table.

Graham Potter is under increasing pressure at the club with many accusing the club of being a mess behind the scenes.

Football Insider exclusively revealed that West Ham have lined up a new managerial replacement for Potter should the 50-year-old get sacked.

Potter is under pressure, but the lack of new signings at the club haven’t helped the ex-Brighton manager who lost one of his best players this transfer window in Mohammed Kudus.

Foot Mercato’s Sebastien Denis has now reported West Ham have finally got a transfer over the line for Monaco’s Soungoutou Magassa.

Football Insider verdict

West Ham’s structure has caused several managers issues and the club now face another difficult managerial decision.

The choice to sack David Moyes, who had earned the club European football and a trophy, was bizarre, but the choice to replace him with Julen Lopetegui who failed in the Premier League at Wolves was even stranger.

Having signed a manager who has shown his ideas can work in the Premier League, the club have now failed to back Potter, leaving him in the lurch.

If West Ham are to become the club they moved to the London Stadium to become, they need to start looking at the chief decision makers at the club and make a change.
