West Ham United have rejected a bid from Premier League rivals Everton for Czechia international midfielder Tomas Soucek.
The 30-year-old featured as West Ham were thrashed 5-1 by Chelsea at the London Stadium on Friday, 22 August.
Graham Potter’s men have started the new Premier League season poorly, conceding eight goals in just two games.

However, according to The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg via X on Monday, 25 August, West Ham have rejected a bid for their man from the Toffees.

Soucek’s exit would exacerbate those issues, so Potter must be pleased by the news that his side have rejected Everton’s advances for the midfielder.
Soucek has been a key asset for West Ham since joining from Slavia Prague back in 2020, and his experience should help them through tough times in the Premier League.
The Hammers have already lost former stalwarts like Michail Antonio, Vladimir Coufal, and Aaron Creswell this summer, so parting company with the 30-year-old would be damaging.
Contrastingly, Soucek would be a quality addition for Everton, which is why the Merseyside club have bid for his services.
