West Ham United supporters will put the board under increasing pressure with their upcoming boycott.
It has been a dreadful start to the season for the Hammers, who sit in the Premier League relegation zone with just three points after four games.
Defeats against Sunderland and Chelsea were compounded by a 3-0 loss against London rivals Tottenham on Saturday (13 September), leaving supporters furious again.
Next month, West Ham fans are planning a boycott of their home game against Brentford, in an attempt to force Karren Brady and David Sullivan to sell the club.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that this move could have a big impact.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that Brady and Sullivan will feel the pressure of the boycott and that there could be some movement in terms of the ownership soon.
The pair have owned West Ham since 2010, and oversaw the controversial switch from Upton Park to the London Stadium.

Wyness added that supporters have sent a letter of no confidence to the club’s board.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “There’s a petition of I think 14,000 asking for the owners to go.
There’s now this letter from the supporters group.
“They’re looking to boycott the match against Brentford soon.
“I think it is going to put pressure on.
I think David Sullivan’s got things on his plate right now.
We know that Jacqueline Gold is probably a seller of her shares, since she inherited them from David Gold.
So they’re not in a stable position.”
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has reportedly opened the door to a shock return to London with West Ham among the potential suitors.

That is according to their former scout, Mick Brown, who claims that the former Chelsea boss “loves” living in London and still has a house there.
Mourinho was linked with the West Ham job after Julen Lopetegui was sacked last year, and is still in contention for the role at the London Stadium.
Graham Potter, meanwhile, remains under growing pressure as large sections of the Hammers fanbase have lost faith in his management after seven months in charge.
