West Ham are set to intensify their effort to sign one Liverpool star in the coming days.

As the Reds continue to strengthen this summer ahead of their title defense next season, some Liverpool players are in the shop window.

Darwin Nunez is perhaps the most high-profile names on the exit list for Liverpool?

The former Benfica man’s reported move to Napoli has broken down in the last couple of days due to Liverpool’s valuation of him.

Yet, there is still a high chance that he leaves this summer, with Fabrizio Romano recently confirming that clubs in Saudi Pro League are likely to send in a bid for him in the coming days.

Federico Chiesa is another player thought to be keen on leaving, and Liverpool are reported to be open to allowing him leave.

Luis Diaz and Ibrahima Konate, could yet leave, albeit reluctantly, as Liverpool do not want to lose either player.

Elsewhere, Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton are also likely to leave.

The duo are attracting interest from West Ham, whose summer transfer focus is on signing talented young players.

At 22, Elliott and Morton fit that bill, and their recent success in the U21 Euros, makes them an attractive prospect  for Hammers boss Graham Potter.

Last week, reports from WHUEmployee (via The West Ham Way), revealed that the Hammers will turn their attention to their purusit of Elliott and Morton, having secured a deal for the signing of Liverpool-linked El Hadji Malick Diouf.

A follow up report from the same outlet (via @West_Ham Central), has asserted that West Ham are now trying to move for Elliott ‘in the next few days.’

“West Ham are said to be trying to move the Harvey Elliot deal on in these next few days,” the report said.

“The club have been in talks all week and there is hope a deal could be achieved.”
