West Ham may have unearthed a gem in the summer transfer window, who has been tipped to become a £70million star.
The West Ham board is coming under increasing pressure from supporters for a lack of spending and ambition in the transfer market.
The lack of unity at the club was shown when West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen clashed with a fan following their League Cup exit at Wolves.
Manager Graham Potter could face the sack at West Ham following a disastrous opening two games to the season, although an impressive 3-0 victory at Nottingham Forest last time out relieved some of the criticism on him.

Potter added eight new players to the squad during the summer window, including defender El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague in a £19m deal.
The Athletic‘s Carl Anka [6 September] believes the 20-year-old’s valuation could rocket up to £70m after a period in the Premier League.
“I’m fairly confident that El Hadji Malick Diouf is going to get a £60million to £70m price tag within the next two seasons, Anka claimed.

“The Senegal international has the makings of a superb left-back, but West Ham’s other weaknesses mean he might be on the losing team more often than not this season.
“Then again, he might shine brighter as a top talent in a team that isn’t blessed with them.”

Diouf has arrived in the Premier League as a relatively unknown quantity to many West Ham fans.

Whilst West Ham have had a difficult start, Diouf is making a positive impression down the left flank, and at 20 he could become a star of the future.
If the Hammers were able to sell Diouf for £70m in the future, it would represent a huge profit on the fee they paid Slavia Prague this summer.

Diouf likes to contribute to the attack and he already has two assists in three Premier League appearances so far.
Potter will regard Diouf as a rare success in a window which proved tricky for West Ham to sign their top targets.
