Harvey Elliott and Richarlison clashed near the end of Liverpool vs Tottenham on Sunday(Image: Carl Recine/Getty Images)
Harvey Elliott was involved in a clash with Richarlison just minutes before his Liverpool side were crowned Premier League champions.
The Reds knew heading into Sunday’s game at Anfield that a point was all that was required to be crowned champions.
And even though Dominic Solanke headed Ange Postecoglou’s side ahead, the Reds responded through Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo to take a 3-1 lead into the break.
Mohamed Salah and an own goal from Destiny Udogie then completed the rout in the second-half.
However, toward the end of the game, Elliott and Richarlison were involved in a clash after the Brazilian took umbrage with the midfielder’s cheeky attempt at a nutmeg when play was halted for a foul in the middle of the pitch.

The ex-Everton star didn't take kindly to it and squared up to Elliott, who pushed him away, before Curtis Jones pulled his team-mate away and that is when he trolled the Spurs forward.
Elliott held up three fingers on one hand and gestured zero with the other in what is likely to be a reference to the 30 years that Everton have gone without a trophy.
Richarlison fired back at the Liverpool man on social media, writing: "He wants to reach 30 goals in his career, I think [grinning face with sweat emoji]."

And now in footage captured by a Liverpool supporter and shared on TikTok, Arne Slot’s reaction to it all can be seen.
Unsurprisingly, the Liverpool boss, after watching the incident unfold, just turned away, smiled and had a little laugh to himself.

Reflecting on the achievement of the winning the title after the game, Slot said: "Very, very happy, of course, but to a certain extent also quite unreal because you work so hard for this moment to happen, and when it then does happen, it needs some time for you to truly feel it.
“But the fans were so happy that it didn't take us long, didn't take me long to understand what we've achieved together this season.”
Before he continued: “The moment I knew I would become the new head coach over here, that's already a moment that you're so proud of – to be part of such a great football club.

“Then now to be part of the history of this football club is something I think I could only have dreamt of two, three or four years ago.
I don't know if it's funny or not but I think four, five or six years ago it was the first time when I was here when Pep Lijnders invited me – that was against Tottenham and I think they won that game 4-0 somewhere around Christmas time.
“We all know what happened around Tottenham one or two years ago, so now to win it against them is quite special.”
