The father of Dean Huijsen is reportedly doing all he can to ensure that his son secures a move away from Bournemouth this summer.

However, Liverpool may not benefit from his latest action.

The defender has become one of the most discussed players among Liverpool transfer circles, with several top journalists confirming the Reds’ interest in him.

For example, David Ornstein has already confirmed that the Anfield club has held preliminary meetings with the player’s camp to understand the situation.

However, a Marca report on Wednesday revealed that Real Madrid’s attention is now on Huijsen?

The report claims that Los Blancos are targeting two central defenders: Dean Huijsen and William Saliba.

According to the report, Dean Huijsen has made the most progress recently and is Real Madrid’s preferred option.

And now, according to SER Deportivo, Huijsen’s father, Donny, has taken extra measures to secure a transfer to Real Madrid for his son despite receiving an offer from  Liverpool.

According to the report, the defender’s father has hired a law firm to negotiate a potential transfer with Madrid on the centre-back’s behalf.

They are hopeful of receiving an offer soon so they can decide an exit strategy with Bournemouth, who only signed the 20-year-old last summer from Juventus.
