Liverpool have yet to make any contact with Newcastle United over Alexander Isak.
Newcastle, though, still insist they do not want to sell their striker this summer transfer window.
Albeit, there is a growing feeling that a new challenge could tempt Isak.
But insiders and sources are saying different things about this saga; here is a round-up of the latest:
The ECHO's sister site Chronicle Live reports club insiders insist Isak is not for sale.
They also cite sources on Merseyside, who claim there is, as yet, no contact between the clubs.
The publication also claims that Newcastle told Arsenal this summer that the striker would receive a lucrative contract offer.
They also acknowledge that their sporting director, Paul Mitchell, left last month, with chief executive Darren Eales also to step down once the club appoint a successor.
That reporting came after claims from The Athletic of Liverpool making an approach to Newcastle over Isak.
Liverpool, however, are reportedly yet to contact Eintracht Frankfurt over Ekitike despite Newcastle working to recruit him.
The publication also adds that there is an expectation that a move for Darwin Nunez will soon progress again.
