Liverpool have been basking in the glory of becoming Premier League champions over the past month.
The Reds secured the title with four games left to play, leading to an almighty celebration at Anfield.
After that, Liverpool entered party mode, with the players taking their foot off the pedal and enjoying the fruits of their labour.
One of the best things about Liverpool’s Premier League win is that it put them level with Manchester United on 20 English league titles.
With United failing to top the table since their own 20th championship in 2013, no one has been crowned more often than Liverpool.
Quite rightly, supporters have been rubbing this in the faces of their arch-rivals, with former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch sharing the story of how one cheeky young Red went above and beyond to gloat at Old Trafford during the last day of the season on Sunday.

While Liverpool were lifting the Premier League trophy at Anfield on Sunday, Man United were left to put the gloss on their worst ever season in the division.
Ultimately, it was a decent day for the Red Devils as they surprisingly beat Aston Villa 2-0 to deny Unai Emery’s team Champions League football.

Before all of that, though, Crouch says he was approached by a young Liverpool fan while covering the match for TV.
“I was at Old Trafford on the final day,” the former striker told That Peter Crouch Podcast.
“There was a little lad, Luca, who I need to mention.”

“I was on the side of the pitch at Old Trafford and right down the front I heard a little Scouse accent, ‘Crouchy lad,’ I turned around and this little kid Luca, I had to take a picture of him, he’s in the stand at Old Trafford with a ’20 times’ Liverpool flag with Virgil van Dijk holding the trophy.
He’s brought that in to Old Trafford!”
What a season it has been for Liverpool supporters.
Not only did they win the Premier League, but United were more miserable than they have ever been before.
Ruben Amorim’s team losing in the Europa League final last week was the icing on the cake of a truly disastrous campaign at Old Trafford.
That loss leaves them without European football next season as they embark on the long way back to the top.
Ironically, not having the added exertion of playing in midweek may ultimately help United.
As Liverpool found in 2016/17, it can certainly be a blessing in disguise to have only one game to prepare for each week.
Much will depend on their summer business, but it would not be a shock if United were much better next term.
In the meantime, Liverpool fans will fully enjoy their moment of schadenfreude.
