The Reds have had an impressive summer off the pitch after bringing in some high quality players that should put them in good stead to defend their title next season.
They have equally had a good time on the pitch as well as their new signings, as well as some youngsters, have really stood out and staked their claim to play regularly next season.
Although he was always going to be in the team for the upcoming campaign, one player who has shone was that of Florian Wirtz, with the German showing glimpses of pure genius.
He has left fans in awe with his performances and the £116m transfer fee may pay itself off if he continues to impress next season, although the 22-year-old has also proven his selfless side.
He may have scored his first goal for the club in their last friendly, but he was quick to rave about one of his teammates who played a key part in the build-up, suggesting the Reds could have a new bromance on the cards.

The Liverpool midfield will be one of the hardest areas to break into next season, with scouser Curtis Jones having an uphill battle to find a spot in it somewhere.
The 24-year-old has never lacked ability, he has just always had world-class options ahead of him in the pecking order, with Jones likely to struggle for game time again next season.

Wirtz, however, seems to have a different opinion, with the German posting on his Instagram story praise for his teammate, writing: “My guy!
What a player.”

The clip attached is Jones stealing the ball away from a Yokohama Marinos player and kick-starting the counter-attack, with the Englishman playing a vital role in Wirtz’s first Liverpool goal.
Reds fans would love to see Jones succeed as a fellow scouser and his performances in pre-season will not have gone unnoticed, he will just need to take the chances he gets next campaign, although how many he gets is as good a guess as any.
Jones has been held in high regard at the club ever since his academy days, with Steven Gerrard a huge fan of his when he coached him in the under 18s.
Ever since then, he has gone from strength to strength and established himself as a regular first-team player, although he does not start as many games as he would probably like.
He is a player who would be classed as ‘on the fringes’, but at 24, he might start thinking about a move away if he doesn’t get the chances his hard work deserves.
Harvey Elliott is considering a move this summer and he is two years his junior, so if he does go and it is successful, Jones might just follow suit not too long after.
