Federico Chiesa was left looking a little confused on Liverpool's open top bus as the Reds paraded the Premier League trophy through the city.
Going to to make 14 appearances in all competitions, he featured six times in the Premier League while he had to wait until the penultimate game of the season away at Brighton & Hove Albion to be handed his first start in the English top-flight.
Chiesa was left out of the matchday squad for Liverpool’s final game of the season as they came from behind to draw 1-1 with Crystal Palace.

But that did not stop him from being at the heart of the celebrations, albeit perhaps somewhat sheepishly, as the Liverpool squad celebrated being presented with the trophy with supporters.
Handed the trophy in front of the Kop, his team-mates kept urging him to repeatedly hold it aloft to supporters.
They then all jumping on top of him and joining supporters in an impromptu rendition of the Italian’s catchy, albeit slightly X-rated, chant.

Meanwhile, Chiesa was spotted enjoying the celebrations on top of the open top bus, but that did not stop him from looking somewhat confused at one point.

Holding aloft a 'Champions' scarf to supporters, the Italian posed for pictures before noticing something was not got right.

The bemused forward was holding the scarf upside down, and took a closer look before realising his 'mistake'.
Chiesa's Liverpool future remains uncertain given his bit-part role, with Slot previously challenging the forward to stake his claim in pre-season.
However, after facing Crystal Palace, the Dutchman conceded that some of his players might look to move on after playing a bit-part role this season.
