Liverpool's players were greeted with a special message when they reported for training on April 30, 2025
The newly-crowned Premier League champions had a special message waiting for them when they returned to work After being granted two days off by head coach Arne Slot following Sunday's 5-1 mauling off Tottenham Hotspur that confirmed them as champions, the Liverpool squad were back at the AXA Training Centre on Wednesday morning.
And as the Reds players reconvened at their £50m Kirkby training base to begin preparations for Sunday's trip to Chelsea, they were greeted by a huge welcome message across the windows of the entrance.
"Premier League champions" read the giant sign that was stuck above the doorway.
It was one that was captured on both official club channels and Trent Alexander-Arnold's social media account as he reported for duty.

Inside, the players were welcomed by trophy-shaped balloons and red stars at the coffee bar to remind them of their status as league winners.
And the area was specially decorated to commemorate the Reds' record-equalling haul of 20 league titles, which has been secured with four games still to play.
The coffee bar was installed at the players' entrance last summer as a way of fostering greater team spirit after Fenway Sports Group's CEO of football Michael Edwards had gained the idea after a trip to Roma's training base.

On Monday, it was confirmed the club will undertake a city-wide parade on Monday, May 26, with the five-hour event set to begin at 2.30pm at Allerton Maze, in the south of the city, before travelling northbound on Queens Drive towards the Childwall Fiveways roundabout and then on to the Rocket flyover.
It's a 15 kilometre route in total.
After 750,000 people turned out for the 2019 parade to mark the club's Champions League success over Spurs in Madrid, it's estimated that the city could welcome up to one million for the 20th league title tour.

Leader of Liverpool City Council, Councillor Liam Robinson, said: “We’re delighted to officially invite Liverpool Football Club to parade around the city on the May 26.
A Liverpool victory parade is more than football – it’s a celebration of our city’s pride, passion and community spirit.
“A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes in preparation for an event of this size and scale, and there has already been months of careful planning taking place as the Team Liverpool approach - which we saw work so well throughout Eurovision - comes to the fore again.
“It’s set to be an unforgettable Bank Holiday Weekend as we give the team the celebration they deserve.”
