Arne Slot is likely to have a Liverpool squad full of talent fighting for the Premier League Golden Boot this season.
Alexander Isak joined Liverpool from Newcastle United on transfer deadline day for a British transfer record of £125 million, joining a star-studded attack of Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, and now, Rio Ngumoha.
The Reds are already atop the Premier League table after three games, beating Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Arsenal in three straight victories before the international break.
Dominik Szoboszlai scored Liverpool’s only goal against the Gunners, popping up with a world-class free-kick to beat David Raya from long distance, with the race well and truly on for the club’s top scorer.
However, with multiple big signings made, concerns have been raised over some new players.

Debating who could end the season as Liverpool’s top goalscorer, Frank Leboeuf claimed Salah as his guess, while also second-guessing the move for Isak at Anfield.
“We all know the only one who should start every game is Mohamed Salah.
The others, we don’t know what’s going to happen between Gakpo, Isak, and Ekitike,” he said on ESPN FC (6 September).

“You would think that Ekitike would have many chances to score goals, but now, will he play or will he be on the bench?
Will he only play in the cup and be a substitute for Isak?
“The signing of Isak was very strange for me when you saw what Ekitike was capable of doing, but whatever.
I will go with Mo Salah.”
Slot is keen to achieve much more next season, having already lifted the Premier League title during his first campaign in England.
Supporters were disappointed to be kicked out of the Champions League and FA Cup at early stages, but once they lifted their 20th league title, fans quickly forgot about the rest of the season.
However, if Slot is to lift the Premier League for a second time in as many years, he will join a small list of Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, and Pep Guardiola to have achieved that feat.
The Man City boss went one step further with a quadruple between 2020 and 2024, and if the Reds’ early form under Slot is anything to go by, they could dominate the Premier League for years to come.
