Liverpool have finally signed Alexander Isak from Newcastle United.(Image: Alex Dodd - CameraSport via Getty Images)Alexander Isak is Liverpool's final signing of the summer transfer window.
The North East club had wanted £150m for their player - however, Isak had been insisting on the move, meaning St James' Park chiefs were forced to return to negotiations and settled the full agreement over the final weekend of the window.
Signing a top-level striker, who has scored 54 Premier League goals in 86 appearance, is bound to excite Liverpool supporters, therefore the only disappointment surrounding the move should come from the fact fans will be forced to wait to see the new signing in action.

Isak, who is to wear the Reds' No.9 shirt, is now headed away on international duty having been selected for Sweden's squad for two FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia (September 5) and Kosovo (September 8).
Only after the international break will he be able to make his debut for Arne Slot's side.
Liverpool's first fixture after the break is in the Premier League on Sunday, September 14.
They travel to Turf Moor to take on newly-promoted Burnley, who have won one and lost two since returning to the top-flight.
Isak scored twice in two appearances for his former club against the Clarets.
Looking towards when Isak could make his home debut for the Reds - in front of excited supporters at Anfield - then that would be Wednesday, September 17.
That is Liverpool's first Champions League fixture of the 2025/26 campaign, with a league phase match against Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid.
Los Colchoneros have started the season without a win in their first three La Liga fixtures and Isak has a record of one goal and one assist against them in six appearances, when he formerly played for Real Sociedad.
Finally, Isak has an opportunity to make a home Premier League bow for Liverpool against neighbours Everton on Saturday, September 20.
The first Merseyside derby of the new season is scheduled for a lunchtime kick-off that day at Anfield.
Isak has a record of one goal in four matches against the Blues from his time playing in England, so far.
Transfer deadline day is almost upon us and Liverpool still have business to do.
It's already been a busy summer for the Premier League champions but they could still pull off a couple of blockbuster signings as the window comes to a close.
Alexander Isak's future remains unresolved, with the striker refusing to play or train for Newcastle United.
Liverpool remain interested in a deal for the Swede.
Meanwhile, Marc Guehi has been a player of interest all summer and Liverpool could still launch a last-minute deal for the Crystal Palace defender.
