Florian Wirtz looks set to become a Liverpool player.
After weeks of negotiations, the deal appears to be done as Liverpool have agreed a deal worth up to £116m with Bayer Leverkusen, via the BBC.
This comes after the Reds signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen earlier this summer.
Wirtz has been linked to Liverpool for ages at this point, and now, a deal has finally been struck.
However, this situation may well be further prolonged as Florian Wirtz is currently on holiday and won’t be undergoing his medical just yet.
According to Florian Plettenberg, it may still be a little while before this deal is formally announced.

Wirtz has been on international duty with Germany recently, and he’s currently taking a well-earned break.
