Liverpool have officially unveiled their highly anticipated 2025-26 third kit, and the Premier League champions are leaving fans counting down the days until they can see it in action.

The sea-green masterpiece represents another stunning chapter in the club’s renewed partnership with adidas, continuing what has already been described as a “record-breaking” start to their decade-long collaboration with the German sportswear giant.

The striking design pays homage to one of Liverpool’s most iconic periods, drawing inspiration from classic kits of the 1990s and early 2000s.

What makes this release particularly special is the return of the adidas Originals Trefoil logo, which hasn’t graced a Liverpool shirt for almost 35 years – not since the 1990-91 season.

The kit also features the classic Liverpool crest used between 1987 and 1992, creating a bridge between the club’s golden era and the current squad.

It’s available in multiple versions including short-sleeve, long-sleeve, and a newly created cropped edition, paired with white shorts featuring green detailing and green socks.

But perhaps the most exciting news for eager fans is that they won’t have to wait much longer to see this retro-inspired beauty in competitive action.

Liverpool will debut their new third kit when they visit Turf Moor to face Burnley this Sunday.

The Premier League fixture, scheduled for 2:00 PM local time, will mark the first official outing for Arne Slot’s champions in their eye-catching new strip.

The launch extends beyond just the playing kit, with adidas releasing a comprehensive collection that includes an all-black goalkeeper shirt modeled by Alisson Becker, plus training wear, lifestyle pieces, and even special edition LFC Gazelle trainers in the sea-green colourway.

Liverpool’s women’s team will have to wait slightly longer for their debut, with the squad scheduled to wear the third kit for the first time when they face Sheffield United on November 22.

The release continues the phenomenal success of Liverpool’s return to adidas, with the club reporting that more home and away kits were sold in the first month than at any other time in the club’s history.
