Liverpool were one of a number of Premier League clubs not in action this weekend and subsequently found themselves with a rare game week off ahead of the final international break of the regular season. Originally scheduled to host Fulham at Anfield on Saturday afternoon, s side saw their Premier League encounter with the Whites postponed due to Marco Silva's side's progress in this year's FA Cup. The Londoners travel to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon and will go head-to-head with Manchester United for a place in the final four of the game's oldest national trophy. The winner will face either Brighton and Hove Albion, Sheffield United or Manchester City at Wembley. For the Reds, it means ahead of next week's international break, where twelve senior players will jet off to join up with their international counterparts, they will be forced to chew off the fat of their deflating defeat to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu for a little longer as they don't find themselves back in action until April 1, when they travel to Manchester City in the Premier League.
