That is the maximum amount of rest time available to be given, but those featuring in the Club World Cup won't have that full rest time.
The 25/26 Premier League season is then scheduled to end on Sunday, May 24 2026, meaning it will last just over nine months.

As usual, games on the final day will be played at the same time.
The end date of Sunday, May 24, ensures that the Premier League finishes in good time ahead of the 2026 World Cup next summer.
It has already been determined that there will not be a game played on Christmas Eve during the 25/26 season.
There will be three international breaks throughout the campaign too, with those happening in October, November and March.
The Africa Cup of Nations also take place this year in December and January, but the league will continue to run through that.
