The draw for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals takes place later today.

All of the Premier League’s big hitters will be looking to take their place in the hat for the final eight as the fourth round is played across Tuesday and Wednesday.

Brentford booked their place in the quarters on Tuesday with a nervy penalty shootout win over Sheffield Wednesday, joined by Southampton after they got a late winner to settle a five-goal thriller against Stoke.

Liverpool are the defending champions but have a difficult task down at Brighton on Wednesday, while Manchester United - under the temporary management of Ruud van Nistelrooy after Erik ten Hag’s departure - host Leicester and Arsenal travel to Preston.

Chelsea, meanwhile, meet Newcastle for the second time in the space of just a few days.

When is the Carabao Cup draw?

The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw is scheduled to take place later today on Wednesday October 30, 2024 after Tottenham’s game against Manchester City – which kicks off at 8:15pm GMT.

An estimated time for the draw is 10:30pm GMT, with Mark Chapman hosting and helped by Jamie Redknapp and Izzy Christiansen.
