Liverpool are considered among the favourites to win the Champions League ahead of Thursday’s League Phase draw.

A Premier League title win few expected has raised hopes of a stunning seventh European triumph, bolstered further by a summer spending spree of close to £300million.

The Reds were knocked out by eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain last season in the quarter-final stage, and could come face to face with the holder in the draw.

The draw takes place on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 5pm BST and much of it will be automated due to the sheer number of fixtures to be organised.

Which pot are Liverpool in for the Champions League draw?

Liverpool will be placed in Pot 1 as they have the fourth-highest UEFA coefficient.
