Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is one yellow card away from serving a one-match suspension in the Premier League.

The German's time in charge at Anfield is drawing to a close as he prepares to bid farewell to the Reds after nine successful years.

Their hopes of winning the Premier League faded following defeats to Crystal Palace and Everton before being held by West Ham but they returned to winning ways with a 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Klopp will be hoping to enjoy the final two games of his tenure in the English top-flight, with Champions League qualification secured, as they travel to Aston Villa before the curtain comes down against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

But the 56-year-old will need to be on his best behaviour against Unai Emery's side or risk serving a touchline ban for accumulating three yellow cards.

This season, Klopp has been cautioned by the match official twice and is treading a final line with the three yellows as the threshold.

The German was booked for his demonstrations aginst Luton Town at Kenilworth Road after Virgil van Dijk was hauled down in the box by Tedem Mengi.

He received his second caution against Burnley for a similar situation, this time involving Diogo Jota who went to ground in the penalty area with no further action taken.

The final two matches will be immaterial for Liverpool with their spot in next season's Champions League secured and behind both Arsenal and Man City in the title race.
