The Reds named a 24-man squad for a top-flight charge on Friday, which can now only be changed after the closure of the January transfer window.
Ngumoha has already made an impressive start to his Liverpool career - following his arrival from Chelsea last year.
The 17-year-old scored the winning goal for the Reds in the 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at St James' Park last month, with the strike coming in the 10th minute of added time on Tyneside.
Despite Liverpool having high hopes for Ngumoha, the teenager has not been named in the club's 24-man squad for the Premier league this campaign.
The Reds will still be able to name Ngumoha in matchday squads in the top-flight this season, though, due to the forward qualifying as an Under-21 player.

Liverpool can register as many players who are born on or after January 1, 2004, as they wish - with Ngumoha one of several who could still be called upon by the Reds this term.
The teenager is also joined by summer signing Giovanni Leoni in not being named in the Premier League squad - but still qualifying to feature as an Under-21.
