Kevin Campbell has insisted an Arsenal swoop for Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain would “make no sense”.

The former Gunners hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, compared the 28-year-old to current midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles – branding the pair “very similar”.

In other news, pundit issues “work harder” warning to Arsenal star left in the cold by Arteta.

The midfielder left the Emirates for Liverpool in 2017 for a reported £35million.
