Liverpool have won all four of their Premier League games this season.
And, after their Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, they’ve now increased their winning streak to five games in a row.
However, much like the rest of their games this season, the Reds left it until the dying embers of the clash to finally get the win over the line.
Throughout each of Liverpool’s games this season, it’s felt like there’s been a chance of the Reds losing their games.
And, this is the exact reason why Pennant believes the Reds’ rivals should be worried, as, even though they’ve not played all that well, the fact that their late goals have won them the game should be concerning for the rest of the league.
“It takes at least 10 games for things to start settling,” he said while live on talkSPORT.
“That’s why you always judge a team in the Premier League where they’re going to be after eight or 10 games to see where they are in the places.
“So yeah, if they continue on this path, scoring late goals but not being great, then I think other teams will be worried.”
As Pennant mentioned, it’s obviously going to take time for Liverpool’s team to fully gel.

And, while late goals have worked out for them so far, there’s going to come a point when their luck runs out, which will be far from ideal.
