Portuguese tennis player Francisco Cabral has paid tribute to Diogo Jota at Wimbledon.
Jota was killed in a car accident along with his brother – fellow professional footballer Andre Silva – in the early hours of Thursday morning (July 3).
The Liverpool striker and his 26-year-old brother, who played for Portuguese side Penafiel, died after a tyre blew out on their car, resulting in a crash when attempting to overtake on the A52, known as the Palacios de Sanabria, according to local police.
Tributes have inevitably poured in for the Portugal international from across the world.
And doubles player Cabral is the latest person to pay his respects.
Cabral, the world number 40 in men’s doubles, wore a black ribbon on his shirt sleeve during his second-round match on Friday after the All England Club relaxed its strict all-white dress code to allow tributes to the Liverpool forward.

Speaking court-side after his round one win, he said: “I have seen the very sad news.
The guy is a big name, not just in Portugal but in the world.
"He was a great human being with a nice family and three kids.
For his family it is very tough to recover from that.”
The bodies of both footballers were returned to their native Portugal on Thursday evening and a wake is scheduled in Gondomar, a district of Porto, on Friday (July 4) ahead of a funeral service at Igreja Matriz de Gondomar (the Mother Church of Gondomar) on Saturday (July 5).
