Each player has slowly been getting more and more minutes as pre-season has gone on to bring them up to full match fitness, but one player who has not had many at all is goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
The Brazilian missed their last friendly due to personal issues and flew back to his homeland, but as he is expected to return to training, he will likely get the nod over Giorgi Mamardashvili so he can regain some minutes back.
Three of the back four seem pretty nailed on and pick themselves, with Milos Kerkez making his Anfield debut at left-back, while the usual pairing of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate will likely stay the same.

Ryan Gravenberch will likely hold down his usual position, especially as he is ineligible for their first game of the season against Bournemouth due to suspension.

Mohamed Salah will, of course, start on the right, although he is one who could have his minutes managed as he will surely play in their Community Shield meeting with Crystal Palace on Sunday 10th August, just six days later.
And, to lead the line, new signing Hugo Ekitike will likely get the nod, with fans keen to see what he can offer after a decent debut against Yokohama Marinos.
