However, with all the changes going on at Liverpool this summer, there has to be some sales so that the Reds can recoup some of their money and continue abiding by the Premier League’s PSR rules.

And, as per a new report from journalist Dean Jones via his Patreon, it seems like multiple Premier League clubs are vying for his transfer.
The report outlines that Brighton haven’t been ‘put off’ by Liverpool’s asking price of £40million, with talks likely to ‘progress soon.’
Wolves are then mentioned as a ‘possibility’ with Vitor Pereira eyeing the Englishman as a replacement for Matheus Cunha after his exit.
The report rounds things up by saying that now that Joao Pedro is ‘potentially’ heading to Chelsea or Newcastle, the Seagulls are now ‘seriously considering’ a move.

There’s no denying that Elliott is an exceptional talent; the midfielder has a keen eye for goal and can pick out a pass from anywhere on the pitch.
However, with Wirtz now joining and Dominik Szoboszlai almost certainly ahead of him in his preferred position of attacking midfield, it’s hard to see where his game time would come from next term.
If Liverpool can offload the Englishman for around £40million and include a buy-back clause in the deal like they’ve done for Jarell Quansah, it could be a move that works out for both parties.
Indeed, it’s hard to guess what Liverpool’s team will look like by the time the 2025-26 season kicks off, but at the moment, it feels unlikely that Elliott will be a Liverpool player.
